FAQs
Questions? We've got answers.
Can we register as a full team?
Right now we're doing individual registrations only, although girls can request to be paired with friends. Because we're starting small, this gives us the best chance to balance teams and create a fun experience for everyone.
Can my daughter be placed with friends?
Yes! You can submit friend requests during registration. Because of the logistics of balancing teams, we can't guarantee placement, but we do our best to pair girls with at least one friend. Balanced play is important, but just as important to us is that girls get to play with friends—we know how much more fun that makes it for kids.
My daughter is new to the sport. Can she still play?
Yes! Currently all our tournaments cater to house league and beginner players. In the future we may open it up to more experienced players, but we'll always list the skill levels in the event description so you can make sure it's a good fit for your daughter. Just make sure she's excited to play and understands she'll be competing against girls with varying experience levels—some may have a bit more experience than others. We balance teams to give everyone a good experience, but tournament play is still semi-competitive. If she's eager to try and ready for that challenge, she'll have a great time.
What's included in the registration fee?
Fun play with other girls and a great experience! Registration covers all games, facility costs, and referee fees for the day.
How many games will my daughter play? What's the format?
This depends on the tournament. Check the event description for details on number of games and format (round robin, playoffs, etc.).
